Nuu-chah-nulth Youth Warrior Family promotes cultural exchanges with other nations, to inspire their young men to start a Warriors program in their nation and connect with their territory. It gives youth a purpose; a chance to get involved and help their community.
Based out of Matsqui / Abbotsford Impact Society, a diverse team of Indigenous youth looks to foster the revitalization and adaptation of Indigenous culture for all first peoples in the BC area.
Summit Outreach and Counselling is a program for youth ages 15-25 in the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Our project was called Soup for the Soul. Every Monday, we made a meal for the community, had a guest speaker or Elder, and facilitated a traditional craft or ceremony which was followed by a sharing circle.
