Meet the panelists

Jody is the artist and owner of Native Glass, located on Six Nations of the Grand River. What began as a hobby with her mother has evolved into a profound connection to stained glass art to express her culture and identity. Jody has supported her community through fundraisers for local organizations like the Six Nations Veterans Association, Woodland Cultural Centre and Ganǫhkwásra, Family Assault Support Services.

Sarah is the founder and lead Esthetician behind Wild Carnation Beauty, a wellness brand rooted in holistic values, natural products, and Indigenous traditions. With over a decade of experience in the aesthetics industry, Sarah has built a business that also creates space for self-care, cultural connection, and community wellness in remote regions of British Columbia.

Connor Martin is Kanien’kehá:ka, Bear Clan from Six Nations of the Grand River. She is a mother of two and currently resides in Eagle Lake First Nation in Northern Ontario with her family. She is an interdisciplinary artist with formal education in media production and digital arts, but has a love for tactile art such as beadwork, sewing and handmade accessories.
