Applications are reviewed over three phases:
In Phase 1, Creation staff screen application to remove any project we wouldn’t be able to fund. This includes pieces like if the organization budget of the group is too high, they don’t have any youth leaders, if their project isn’t happening in Canada, etc.
In Phase 2, Applications are reviewed by Indigenous youth reviewers. They review and score applications based on the impact of the project. You can see who reviews applications here
In Phase 3, the youth from Phase 2 discuss together the applications and recommend their top ones for funding.
