Call for IYR KMIM Advisory Circle Members - Application Form (2024)

As per the 2024-2027 Knowledge Mobilization and Impact Measurement (KMIM) Strategic Plan, the IYR KMIM Advisory Circle will govern and support the ethical and culturally safe practice of IYR’s research and evaluation practices. This will be achieved by providing guidance, recommendations, follow-up, advice, and input on the development and implementation of major KMIM projects and practices.

The Advisory Circle Aims to:

Integrate Community Wisdom/Knowledges: Embed Indigenous knowledge, values, and perspectives into the organization’s knowledge mobilization and impact measurement activities.
Advocate for Youth Voices: Ensure that the views and aspirations of Indigenous youth are considered in decision-making processes.
Enhance Cultural Relevance: Provide culturally appropriate guidance on the design of evaluation methods and knowledge dissemination.
Support Impact Assessment: Contribute to the development and refinement of impact measurement frameworks that reflect community-defined success.

The deadline to submit an application is October 17, 2024.
Applicants selected to move to the ‘Meet and Greet’ stage will be notified the first week of November.
