My name is Brooke Stratton. I am an Abenaki First Nation’s Social Worker living in Ottawa, Ontario.

Over the past 10 years, I have worked front line services, specializing in Anti Human Trafficking, harm reduction, and have been a strong advocate for social justice within the child welfare system.

I am honoured to join the CRE as the Peer Advisory Supervisor.

I have always maintained a deep-rooted connection with land-based healing practices, traditional medicine and my teachings. They have been a strong guide in my personal triumphs and have allowed me to assist many others in their healing journey.

I am the voice for equality, justice and truth-telling.
