Chante Speidel

Chante Speidel is from the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation, and the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe is widely recognized for her dedication to youth advocacy and leadership. Her passion for social change has led her to speak on various platforms across Turtle Island, where she continues to advocate for Indigenous rights and youth empowerment.  She serves on multiple councils and leads Techa Oaye, a youth-led organization dedicated to empowering Indigenous youth through leadership development. Chante graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Indigenous Studies from the University of Saskatchewan. Chante is currently working for Southern Chiefs Organization Inc in Restorative Justice.
