Destiny,

Creation Advisory Circle Member

Destiny is a proud Denesuline woman from the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, originally from Fort Chipewyan, and currently residing in Fort McMurray. She completed her Business Administration Management Diploma at Keyano College and is now pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Human Resources at Athabasca University, studying part-time. 

Currently, Destiny works as an Indigenous Relations Advisor at Suncor, where she plays an active role in community engagement. One of the highlights of her position is participating in local Indigenous events, which she believes are vital for understanding the priorities of these communities and building meaningful connections.  

Destiny is passionate about empowering youth, as she believes they represent the next generation of leaders and changemakers. She is committed to helping youth find their voice and pursue their goals with confidence. With her involvement on the Creations Advisory Circle, she hopes to inspire the younger generation to take initiative, challenge the status quo, and contribute to creating positive change in their communities  

Outside of work and studies, Destiny enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family and friends.
