Emma Antoine-Allan,

Creation Advisory Circle Member

Emma Antoine-Allan is an Anishinaabe youth from Sharbot Lake, ON. They grew up in Tkaronto with their moms, sister, and a host of urban Indigenous aunties and cousins. Their grandmas and relatives include Sue Jackson, Fay Hollywood, and Donna Ladouceur, and they’re proud to practice walking gently with the gifts they’ve been given.

Emma has been organizing with the Native Youth Sexual Health Network (NYSHN) since they ran into the Grandmother Spirit Project as an 8 year old, and now, as an older-younger person, they work with NYSHN’s core team to bring reproductive justice to our communities— everything and anything to do with our bodies and lands.

Currently living in lkwungen, the place to smoke herring, Emma studies at the University of Victoria and tries everyday to be a good relative to these lands, waters, skies and their nations.
