Delaine Akumalik Fredlund

Delaine Inunnaaq Akumalik Fredlund, she/her is a Inuk from Nunavut, though she moved to Mi’kma’ki during high school. She will begin studying Medical sciences at Dalhousie University in September 2025. Delaine is passionate about spending time on the land, connecting with others and learning new things. She is looking forward to working with IYR and other Indigenous youth gaining more knowledge about different projects and perspectives.
