Jamal Koulmiye Boyce,

Jamal is an educator, advocate, and friend, with a strong background in anti-racist advocacy, solidarity work, and project management. As a 2022-23 National Pathy Fellow, he founded Color In Practice, a grassroots social enterprise providing free and meaningful programming for Black, Indigenous, and Racialized changemakers, and assisting charities, non-profits, and private businesses in doing the same. In 2023, Color In Practice hosted Canada’s first in-person national convening of young Black and Indigenous changemakers. The Forum is now in its second year.
He currently serves as the Ontario Regional Coordinator for the Canadian Race Relations Foundation. In his spare time, Jamal enjoys bushcraft, backcountry camping, and connecting with nature. His commitment to community-informed governance, solidarity work, and anti-oppressive frameworks guides his advisory role at Indigenous Youth Roots.
