Jesse Ridgley

Jesse was born in the Greater Toronto Area but has spent the last 10 years traveling the country getting to experience the unique aspects of each province & territory. Throughout this journey he has established a career in people management focused around providing accessible and equitable employment in a variety of different industries.

With over 10 years of post secondary education Jesse believes that knowledge is a never ending journey and stays up to date on the latest practices, trends, and initiatives through formal educational pursuits, HRPA events, local seminars, and extensive readings from the top minds around the world. He is eager to contribute towards Indigenous Youth Roots to better serve his community and help others who have struggled with feeling a lack of connection to their Indigenous heritage.

Outside of work Jesse is a formerly certified canine behaviourist who helps rehabilitate dogs who have a troubled past and are often on their last chance. Through compassion, patience, and consistency Jesse has helped rehabilitate and re-home 50+ dogs through various organizations across the country.
