Kendra is from Nisichawaysihk Cree Nation located in northern Manitoba. She currently lives in Winnipeg, MB and works as the Indigenous Community Ambassador for Rogers TV. Kendra bridges her passion for storytelling and filmmaking with knowledge rooted in Cree culture. Holding a Post-Graduate Diploma in Film and Multiplatform Storytelling, complimented by a B.A.H in Indigenous Studies, she brings a unique blend of creative vision and cultural insight.
As a dedicated advocate for the representation of Indigenous stories in the media, Kendra leverages her education and experience to promote inclusive content creation. Through her work, she hopes to break down barriers and foster greater empathy and understanding.
Outside of work Kendra enjoys playing video games, collecting her fave movies on VHS and hanging out with family.
