Meagan Ladouceur,

she/her

Administrative Coordinator

Meagan lives with gratitude on Treaty 7 Territory in Mohkínstsis (Calgary). She is of mixed heritage of Cree and Métis as well as Romanian, German, and English settler. The teaching that the decisions we make today must benefit the next 7 generations led her to study Sociology & Women and Gender Studies and begin a career serving her community. Her experiences in non-profit organizations have instilled the understanding that uplifting folks early on is the key to a resilient and kind society.

Meagan grew up with loose connections to her Indigenous culture but is on a journey of reclaiming her identity as an Indigenous woman through ceremony, learning, and honoring the land. Having personally participated in programming for Indigenous youth, she knows what is possible when folks are empowered. She’s thrilled to give back and utilize her passion to support dynamic, connected, and resilient Indigenous youth.

Meagan loves gardening (she grew tobacco this past summer!), volunteering at her local yoga studio, dancing under the stars, sunny days floating down the Bow River, and long walks with her partner and their giant husky, Koda.
