Natalja Blanchard,

Drin hǫzǫ, Shǫzrè’ Natalja Blanchard (pronounced Natalya). Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in dihch’e, and Zhur dihch’e. Dawson City huhch’in. Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Education ghà tr’ëdähok-’ay.
Natalja Blanchard is a Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in and wolf clan youth living in Dawson City. She works for Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Education. Her work focuses on funding citizens enrolled in post-secondary students, skills training, and community training. Natalja sits on committees for the University and local campus to advocate for citizens needs, incorporate first nation’s values in student supports, assist with new program development, and promote community training and programing.
Natalja’s greatest passions are reading novels from fiction to non-fiction, learning new things, and sharing what she learns with her community. Natalja’s is currently working on their Bachelor of Arts and completing a Certificate in Reconciliation Studies. As part of her studies, Natalja’s research focuses on the Yukon Modern Treaties, treaties in Canada, Truth & Reconciliation Commission Reports, and UNDRIP. As someone who loves learning and believes in reciprocity, she is thrilled to be able to assist communities with their projects.
