Nyesha Sylliboy,

Nyesha Sylliboy is a proud Mi’kmaw woman from Paqtnkek First Nation. She holds a Business Administration diploma from NSCC and is in her final year of a BBA with a double major in Management and Strategic Human Resource Management at Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU). 

Currently, Nyesha serves as the Assistant Manager of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) at Tangerine Bank and holds the role of Indigenous ERG Campus Chair at Scotiabank. She is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as evidenced by her coordination of a company-wide panel discussion on People Network Groups. As the recipient of the 2023 Scotiabank Entrepreneur in the Making grant, Nyesha launched Authentically Nye, a business where she creates beadwork, sews, and facilitates community-based cultural workshops. 

A graduate of the third cohort of the Indigenous Youth Roots Policy School, Nyesha is passionate about breaking intergenerational cycles, creating economic opportunities, and advancing Indigenous success. As a member of the Advisory Circle, Nyesha looks forward to using her diverse experiences to support community-based youth-led projects across Turtle Island.
