Sarah Carrier

Sarah Carrier is a Cree creative currently residing in Dish with One Spoon territory (Toronto). She is a member of Piapot First Nation and was born and raised in Treaty 4 Territory (Regina, Saskatchewan). Sarah is a filmmaker and is currently in pre-production for her next short film. Sarah is passionate about facilitating accessible spaces for youth to engage with and inform policy as it relates to programming and initiatives within IYR. Sarah has extensive experience developing, leading, and reporting on programming for Indigenous youth, particularly those interested in entering a creative industry. Sarah aims to identify the intersections between programming and informing policy that works to remove barriers to access within these sectors. Sarah enjoys yoga, hiking, spending time outdoors, and watching films in her free time.
