Maddy Pilon,

Creation Advisory Circle Member

Maddy Pilon (she/her) lives on Anishnaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat land, and is of mixed settler/Métis ancestry. She has worked with various organisations including Teach For Canada Gakinaamaage, Indigenous Youth Roots, the World Indigenous Suicide Prevention Conference, and has sat on Justice Canada’s UNDRIP Advisory Circle, and Global Affairs Canada’s IAYI advisory circle. She has graduated from IYR’s Indigenous Policy School and LMFO’s Métis women’s leadership program.  

Maddy is passionate about empowering Indigenous youth, land based learning, education, and life promotion. In her free time, Maddy enjoys drawing, painting, sewing, biking, and foraging.
