Creation Community Grants Program

Creation is a multi-level funding program that supports strengths-based, community-focused and youth-led projects taking place in communities across Canada.

Grassroots youth groups/collectives (comprised of Indigenous youth ages 15-29) are eligible to apply for funding to support community programs and projects while receiving innovative mentorship, training and capacity-building opportunities.

Indigenous Youth Policy School

The Indigenous Youth Policy School (IYPS) provides space for Indigenous youth (aged 18-29) to engage with peers through interactive sessions on a local and national level.

The School is a tuition-free program with no academic or professional requirements. Youth can be at any level of learning and understanding about policy (brand new to policy, or with a baseline); we will help ensure everyone starts at the same place.

Two Spirit Regalia Skills Program

The space was designed for youth to explore Two Spirit culture and history from futurist, peer-led perspectives, where they could learn beginner skills in a patient environment and make their very own regalia.

The pilot program was a response to the need for social connection at the onset of Covid-19 and the need for more culturally inclusive spaces for Two Spirit and Indigiqueer youth.

Two Spirit Workshops

Workshops for Two-Spirit and queer-Indigenous youth aged 18-29, living across Turtle Island.

We designed an intentional space that explores Two Spirit culture and history from futurist, peer-led perspectives that celebrate the unique cultural roles and gifts of Two-Spirit people while focusing on healthy spirituality and self-care activities. In a Two Spirit-led environment structured around acceptance and lateral kindness, participants have the opportunity to complete guided, yet customizable short crafting projects in a live workshop setting.
