I am Mohawk snipe clan from Akwesasne. I danced mostly at ceremonies at the longhouse. About 34 years ago, I competed in smoke dance at Akwesasne’s first pow wow on Cook Rd. Eventually I started dancing Women’s Southern Cloth. I still dance both styles today.

I was born into a Bear clan family. I live in Kahnawake, ON Mohawk Territory. I’ve been dancing since the age of two years old and 65 years later I’m still dancing. My dance styles are Iroquois Smoke dance and Northern Men’s Traditional style. I love my culture and live it every day!
