Brianna Wilson,

Creation Advisory Circle Member

Brianna Wilson is a proud member of Westbank First Nation and is a descendant of the syilx (Okanagan) peoples. She has over 10 years of experience working with First Nations in various capacities. Brianna served as the Chair of her community’s Youth Council for four years. During her time as a youth representative for numerous local, regional, and national Indigenous organizations, she has gained valuable knowledge and experience.   

She is both an activist and advocate for Indigenous youth, Indigenous rights, and First Nations social issues in Canada and abroad. Among her values are Indigenous governance, community, innovation, relationships, food sovereignty, resilience, sustainability, data sovereignty, connectivity, environment, culture, self-determination, and economic reconciliation.  

Currently, as an employee of First Nations Finance Authority, Brianna supports a team to help First Nation communities from coast to coast build their own futures on their own terms.  

Brianna is excited and thankful to have a seat on the Creation Advisory Circle. She looks forward to the important work ahead.
