Farah Talaat,

Development Coordinator
Farah Talaat is an Egyptian poet, media host, womanist, and youth/community worker. She immigrated to Canada twelve years ago and attended the University of Toronto’s Equity Studies, Indigenous Studies, and Sociology programs, with an additional background in Project Management. Farah embodies liberatory, strength-based, anti-oppressive practices in her work. As a Development Coordinator, she focuses on building sustainable programs and fostering community partnerships to support equity and justice-driven initiatives. She has facilitated numerous spaces that explore the roots of solidarity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth and has a deep passion for solidarity, community wellness, and creative writing as pathways for healing and resistance.
