Jessie Yusek

Jessie lives and works in Ottawa on the traditional and unceded Algonquin territory with their two cats. They are slowly reconnecting with her Ukrainian heritage.

Jessie received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Women’s and Gender Studies as well as her Master of Arts in History from Brock University. She is slowly but surely completing corrections on her PhD in English (focusing on medieval languages and literatures) through the University of Nottingham. She lived in the United Kingdom for four years (with the same two cats) where she acquired a taste for Jaffa cakes. She has experience in teaching and lecturing at the university level and tutoring individuals at all ages.

They enjoy reading far too much, crocheting and other crafts, and spending time outdoors. If you ever want to talk about medieval romance, Jessie’s only too happy to oblige.
