Joy Rogers,

Board of Directors - Vice Chair

Joy Rogers currently works as a Policy Advisor with the Government of Ontario. Prior to joining the provincial government, she worked at the federal level with the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Additionally, she volunteers as a Youth Leader with Experiences Canada, developing a virtual forum on reconciliation. She has experience in leadership, research and policy development through work with various NGOs and organizations.

Joy is passionate about working towards more equitable policy and decision-making. She graduated with a Master of Global Affairs degree from the University of Toronto in 2016 where she focused primarily on domestic and international social policy issues, as well as immigration policy and refugee rights. In her spare time, you can find her reading (total bookworm!)
