Katsitsano:ron is Wolf Clan from Kahnawake, QC and is a mother of twins.
Katsitsano:ron has a strong passion for working with and for the youth; connecting them with traditional land-based knowledge, and with Elders that carry the language and teachings from the ancestors. She believes the most important work that can ever be done is to lift up the young ones and maintain that traditional relationship.
Katsitsano:ron focuses on having a strength-based, trauma-informed, culturally relevant, and gender-based approach to all aspects of life and relations. Her goal is to continue to be able to advocate for uplifting and creating opportunities for Indigenous women, two-spirit, and gender diverse people across Turtle Island.
