Nicole Maxwell

Nicole was born and raised in Sioux Lookout, Ontario on Anishinabewaki and Metis land under Treaty 3. She moved to Toronto to study Fashion Design at X University and worked in garment production for three years before coming to IYR in 2019. She started at IYR as the Executive & Administrative Coordinator and then grew into the Operations & Process Manager in 2022. Outside of wrangling the day-to-day operations of IYR Nicole rips up the streets and parks of Toronto on roller skates, sews repurposed clothing and sings and plays guitar in personal projects.
